Thanks Murwillumbah Cycle Club........ a missing minute

Thankfully one of our fellow riders Brian Richards who came off his bike a couple of weeks ago in B grade is ok and eager to return. He wanted to say thanks to all that assisted him that day. He also put together a little piece aptly named a Missing Minute.
A short but heartfelt thank you note to the Murwillumbah Cycle Club and in particular to all those members who assisted at the cycling incident last Saturday 22nd May. A special thank you to my new “B” grade team mates including Graeme Harvey - Peter Larsen - Terry Savage and others who I may be unaware of who stopped immediately and rendered assistance. To those who kept on riding------I was extremely envious. A big thank you as well to those who later took care of my bike and motor vehicle (particularly Peter McMahon)- organised notes and telephone numbers so that everything fell smoothly into place when I was later released- and also to those who sent words of encouragement which included Glenn Vidler- Jimmy and Mrs Higgins – Dennis Burger. I apologise if I have missed names of other people who may have unselfishly assisted that I am unaware of.

Racing is on !

Racing is on. The decision has been made to go ahead as it looks a little clearer. And hopefully it does not take a turn for the worst before two. This is a dynamic situation. But we are going to run today. So see you there. And Remember sign on will shut at quarter to two sharp. If you are not there, or have no phoned ahead to organise a number then you will not be able to start. Because the people doing sing on have to get at least a token warm up as well. many thanks Enjoy your ride.
